The Spurrier-Fulmer feud continues this Saturday as the Vols travel to South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks. As part of the nation's "1 loss elite", Tennessee looks to Erik Ainge to complete at least 1 TD pass on a nearly 70% completion rate, but with a likely 1 INT as well. SC QB Syvelle Newton is averaging less passing yards on a lower completion % for less TD's in simulated match-ups, but with less INT's as well. Also, Newton should rush for roughly 30 yards, a threat his counterpart does not offer. The rushing attacks are comparable, with the Vols enjoying a slight edge. However, if the Tennessee "D" can't contain talented SC WR Sidney Rice, the sophomore should find the endzone for 1 TD on nearly 75 yards. Expect a close grudge match here as two coaches give it their all to come out on top.
